INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
For the coating
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Fresh parsley leaves
PROCEDURE
- In a mixing bowl, add the flour and yogurt, then mix together until well combined.
- Coat a flat surface with flour and transfer the dough onto the surface, then begin kneading the dough till it comes together and has a smooth texture. This should take about 5-6 minutes.
- Use your hands to form the dough into a round shape, then divide the dough into 6 equal parts.
- Afterwards, mold each piece into a ball, then roll out with a rolling pin until flat.
- Grease a pan slightly with oil, then place the rolled out dough in the pan.
- Allow the first side to brown and when you see the top side bubbling, then you can flip to the other side and allow it to brown as well.
- Take it off the heat and cover with a clean napkin to keep it warm and soft.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and chopped parsley, then generously coat the surface of each bread with the butter.
- Serve this with any sauce or dip of choice. It can also be used as a bread substitute.
