INGREDIENTS
For the burger
- 1 cup Mich & Kay greek yogurt
- 1 pack minced chicken
- 1 onion bulb (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 fresh peppers (chopped)
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder
- 2 seasoning cubes
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Bread buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomatoes
For the Sauce
- 1/2 cup mich & kay yogurt
- 2 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt & pepper
PROCEDURE
- Place the minced chicken in a bowl, along with the yogurt, bread crumbs, onions, garlic, pepper, mustard, ketchup and spices. Mix together until very well combined.
- Use your hands to scoop out the mixture and form into patties. You should get at least 6 patties from this recipe.
- Drizzle the oil in a pan and let it heat up slightly, then add the patties and brown on both sides for about 3-4 minutes or until fully cooked.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl, add the ingredients under sauce and mix together to combine.
- To assemble, divide the bread bun in half, then coat each side with some of the sauce, top with a lettuce leaf, followed by a tomato slice, a patty, more of the sauce and finally cover with the other half of the bun.
